Good trip but stressful start | Paula j. | 2015/12/18
"My trip from Lyon to Milan was otherwise good, but waiting for the train at the Part-Dieu station, the platform from which the train was going to leave was not announced before the very last minute, and on top of that it was first stated that the train was leaving 10 or 15 minutes late but some five minutes before the original time of departure, it was announced that it was not going to be late after all. Thankfully I had not relied on the train being late, but it was very stressful to stand there waiting for the platform information when it was only a couple of minutes to the stated departure time, wondering if I was somehow supposed to know what the platform was. I could find no station personnel to ask. The trip itself was comfortable and well on schedule, and in 1st class lunch was served to the seat which was very nice. As an improvement I would suggest providing power sockets at the seats so that passengers can charge their mobile phone or laptop. A WLAN for internet access for passengers (at an extra charge if necessary) would also come very useful. "

    Italy/ France train experience | Maddalena b. | 2015/12/05
"The train trip was fine, we had been allocated seats with restricted view so when the controller came through he was kind enough to change our seats. free WIFI should be available on all long haul trains, as a traveller we depend on wifi when moving from country to country. And on a 4 hour journey it would have helped. "

    It is good but... | Ana c. | 2015/10/16
"The train is comfortable although it is worth considering not have wi-fi while traveling and no projection of a movie as it is a long trip (Paris-Turin) "

"TGV is fast and easy. They usually make lots of announcements in several languages (though sometimes hard to understand). Great views through the French and Italian countrysides! "

    Language | Abdelhakim a. | 2015/09/08
"Trip was great but the only issue I faced was that there was no consistency in using the English language. I cannot speak the local languages and the announcer did not all the time use English. "

    My TGV Journey | Zoran m. | 2015/07/29
"For me train tends to be the better alternative to driving long distances and flying. My family and I went on a journey through Europe by train which was a wonderful ride from start to finish. The ride from Paris to Torino was a a perfectly fine experience. Comfy seats, food/bar car, all seems good to me. The train was fast, clean, and modern. Booking service was excellent as it was simple and easy. I am looking forward to go by this train again and would recommend this experience to anyone. "
