" Our train left from secondary station not the main station. We were not told. - Ticket/information office at the second station did not help us at all - man at first window closed his window when I asked for his help, the lady at the second window looked at our ticket then incorrectly advised us we were travelling by bus ??? - Entrance to station is messy with no information boards. We were helped by a local commuter - he said the station was being revamped and was very confusing. - Train left 10 minutes early (incorrect time on ticket). We ran for the train and made it by minutes. - Very stressful experience for tourists. "
"Excellent! It was so easy, and enjoyable - a great experience, as I have told many friends! "
"Train journey was very comfortable and timings were perfectly maintained as in the past! "
"I appreciated being able to travel direct from CDG Airport to the centre of Lyon. The trains themselves are comfortable and quiet. Bathroom facilities were not wonderful but probably no worse than a lot of train services. Unfortunately, the train I'd been due to catch was delayed by 2 hours, eventually arriving at the exact time the next scheduled train to Lyon would have gone. Inevitably this meant that there were around twice the number of passengers on the train as would be expected. I was fortunate enough to get a seat but the aisles and vestibules were rammed with people and luggage and so the atmosphere on board was less than relaxing. Not quite the timely and peaceful journey I'd been hoping for after a 30-hour flight/transit from Sydney, but I'm assuming the delay was a one-off and I would definitely consider travelling this route by train again, if arriving into Paris from an international flight. It is cheaper and more convenient than flying, and probably quicker once you factor in the time you'd have to spend getting the tram from Lyon Airport to the city centre at the other end. "
"We got a very good price our tickets because we purchased the tickets a month ahead. However, because we live in Malaysia we had to get the tickets posted to us and the postage was the price of 1 ticket. At the time of our purchase the print@home and print@station options were not available. And we were not able to choose our seats as well, they allocated our seats to the top level which was very inconvenient as we had a very heavy luggage with us. "
"Very comfortable, access to the internet, and very helpful staff on board made it a very good journey. It is far better than air travel. "
"It was ok to take the train from the airport if you have no luggage; otherwise the staircase could be a hurdle for travellers. For TGV train standard the train is way too old and dirty. Those in Germany and Italy are much better. "
"it was a most convenient trip "
"No seta allocation although first class, difficult to stay in a row together for family, luggage place is very limited make us struggle to find place to put luggage "
"pays to book in advance. not much room for big luggage. "
