Customer feedback 5 -Day Trip
« It was the second time that we had taken a Swiss Rail Pass. It turned out to be quite convenient as we had to travel between Geneva, Lusanne, and Zurich, for the 5 days that we spent in Switzerland. What makes ths Pass even better is that it is valid for any mode of public transport, with the only exception being the Metro in Lusanne. »

    Reasonable | Vineet s. | 2015/10/16
"The overall experience was good. Apart from 3 hour delay from Paris to St Malo. the overall experince was good. Announcements in train were not in english so that was also a problem to an extent. "

    Rail Europe very useful | Kalpesh g. | 2015/10/04
"While planning our Swiss holiday in May 2015, I was wondering from where to buy the Swiss Pass. Rail Europe website seemed like a good option, but I was apprehensive as there were some negative reviews, that talked of over charging and not delivering. It almost seemed like it’s a fraud website. Nevertheless, took the plunge and booked my Swiss Pass on It was great. Firstly the site is informative, the booking process is easy and convenient, and they charged in INR, which saved me currency conversion charges. Also, the price worked out to be marginally lower (about 2%) than the rack rate. The Swiss Pass was delivered within 3 days. In my view, a convenient and efficient way of buying the Swiss Pass in India. "

    Excellent - strongly recommend | Amit g. | 2015/10/03
"We travelled through an extensive area of Switzerland this summer. Our experience of the various train journeys we took during the trip, was in one word - excellent ! The trains were very punctual, you could actually set the time on your watch. The journeys were very comfortable and even when some of the trains were quite busy, we never felt any discomfort. Of special mention were the journeys on the Glacier Express and the one from Zurich to St Moritz! Highly recommend. "

    Convenience | Peter u. | 2015/09/28
"We spent a few days in Alsace at the end of our 15 day Swiss Pass. After standing a long queue at Basel station to buy tickets to Mulhouse on a busy Saturday morning, I realized how much more convenient and time saving it is to have a pass and be in a position to hop onto the first available train. A must-have pass! | Suhas c. | 2015/09/22
"The Swiss Travel Pass is an excellent product! It covers almost every mode of transport in Switzerland (except the mountain railways). With the pass in your pocket, you can travel seamlessly and easily without any ticketing worries. It also covers the entrance fees of virtually all the museums and tourist spots. What more, if you have children under 16, and you buy a family saver pass, the children travel absolutely free. Fantastic! With such features, and the excellent Swiss transport system, we were encouraged to explore a lot many areas than originally planned. Switzerland being a compact country, journey times are fairly short, and leave you a lot of time to do other things. For one day, we also attempted buying tickets and moving around. That was the time we realized not just the convenience of the pass, but also the amount of money one can save. Switzerland is an expensive country even by European standards, and it makes all the more sense to buy this excellent pass. Final tip: with the excellent condition of transport hardware, it does not need to travel first class at all. The second class is excellent and super comfortable. So if you want to save some money and still enjoy comfortable rides, go second-class. You won't regret it. "
