Retail Therapy

Ausberlin only sells products made in Berlin – great for picking up genuine clothes, music and jewellery. The Killerbeast store encourages recycling with a difference; in the back they make new clothes from the old, and sell them at reasonable prices. To satisfy your shopping habit in the evening, the shops at the central Hauptbahnhof station are open till late.

Eat and Drink

German food is often heavy and large – from pig’s knuckles and schnitzel to curried sausages known as currywurst. Kaffee and kuchen (coffee and cakes) are also a popular afternoon pastime, as are the products of Berlin’s two breweries, Schultheiss and Kindl. For luxurious dining visit Savignyplatz in the stylish district of Charlottenberg.

Hidden Gem

Berlin’s architecture is even more incredible from above, so climb up to Viktoriapark in Kreuzberg. Or for an easier viewing platform to see the post-modern skyscrapers try the fastest elevator in Europe, experience the Panoramapunkt in Potsdamer Platz.

Day Trip

Get out of the city and head to the Spreewald Forest in Brandenburg. Breathe the fresh air of the cultivated water landscape and enjoy a boat trip on the labyrinth of small rivers.

Enjoy your travel in Berlin!
